From the last (latest) official WAAGNFNP announcement (comment #285):
We have thirteen superior MOOAD (Ministry of Offense and Defense) Hounds that need to be adopted by Party members. Do not worry about the expense; it will be billed to PZ Myers since he’s the reason we had to get them in the first place. As they have been specially bred for MOOAD and the MOJ from the original Hounds of Hell, Lord Astaroth assures me that they don’t shed, nor will they trigger any allergies. Also, they’re great with kids, other pets, and are only aggressive when they are on The Hunt in the glorious service of MOOAD or the Ministry of Justice.
So there are 13 WAAGNFNP Hounds to adopt:
I already adopted one, he will be living in my sidebar. If you also want to give one of the Hounds a new home, you can find their shelter here. Adopt them!
PS: If anyone is actually reading this (especially Oaktown Girl): Spread the word!
UPDATE: The first Hound was adopted by me. There are still 12 available!

Today is the 18th, I’m just seeing this now. I love it!

Thank you for adopting the first one. My hounds need help. The offices and all Ministry of Defense and Offense have been vaporized on orders of the MOJ, and the poor creatures just hate this bitter cold snowy weather. Any other takers, please say so on this blog. We need the hounds spread around the world, and thus can access them, if need be, to quell any further resistance to the GNF. And huge grateful appreciation for your contribution to the WAAGNFNP!!!!

Oaktown Girl has adopted a WAAGNFNP Hound!
It’s up front and center on my Myspace page.
TC - I think all you have to do click on the link above where Adrian says “you can find their shelter here” and copy the image.
I did change the wording from “Adopted Pet” to “Adopted Hound”, otherwise people in the U.S. might assume it’s a link to actual pet adoption or a pet rescue site…which it is, but not in the usual sense.

Adrian,
I hereby declare my intent to adopt one of the hounds, but as of right now, have no public place to display him.
If you are familiar with Snow Crash*, I would suggest that Fido, one of the cyborg guard dogs in the book, serves as a good model for the MOOAD hounds.
*[I have no idea what your taste in such things are, but Snow Crash certainly has some things to say about globalization, the future and religion.]

JP - please do adopt a MOOAD hound!
When I announced that they needed adopting, that was for the blog-having and blogless alike. They just need good homes from loyal Party Patriots like you.
I will request that Adrian put your name up there, and thank you for taking in one of our beloved hounds.
As for the WAAGNFNP MOOAD hound temperment and ability, they are very much alive and fleshy. And they most certainly can jump over any fence…when they are on a mission for the Ministry of Justice. When they are “off duty”, they can be a little clumsy at times, but that just makes them all the more endearing. I know you’ll enjoy your new companion.
